MUCH more "story" driven season, whereas the first season had more of an underlying thread / more stand-alone episodes, I thought. Much LESS gratuitous nudity.. 
I noticed JUST the first and third episodes had any, and the first episode was fleeting. And - Yennifer kept her clothes on?!
They definitely spent some $$$ / had good fight scenes in the episodes 7 & 8. Hopefully not another two years for Season 3 to come out.
