You know, as a former drug addict, I get a lot of people asking me why I still do drugs (pot). I get VERY offended when people do this, because unlike them, I have some education on the effects of most every drug on the planet. Marijuana is so far from heroin, hell, even alcohol, to compare the two is like comparing some A-cup boobs to Double D’s. Now granted, some people simply can’t consume THC. It effects them differently than most others. Well, the same could be said for asprin or nyquil. Some people simply cannot take them. In fact, people DIE from asprin, no one dies from weed.

What could possibly be wrong with me to obtain a medical marijuana card? I’ll be more than happy to tell you. Currently I wear orthopedic shoes. I have walked on my toes my whole life (and in heels) so now my foot has DEFORMED itself! Your big toe and little toe are supposed to have the strongest and biggest “support” bones that run up to your ankle. Because of the way I have walked, the second to my big toe has mutated to the same size as the support bones. Because of this, I have a huge bump on the pad of my foot that grinds into the ground when I walk. I am not allowed to be barefoot(Doctors Orders) need cortisone shots to dull the pain, and sometimes am kept up at night with it’s throbbing. All things that a little indica fixes well.

I also have really bad migraines. I take Imitrex, a medication so powerful you cant take it with a weak heart. It gets rid of my migraine, but the side effects is vomiting. A little medicinal marijuana cures that right up.

I also suffer high anxiety. It’s so bad that I have been having full blown night terrors (anxiety fuels these). Well, medical marijuana cures anxiety for those with it. Just like ritalin calms a crazy kid.

Currently, my Mom’s best friend is fighting for her life. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, and since then it has spread throughout her body. She is in terrible pain, and wants very badly to vaporize ( a way of taking marijuana that is risk free health wise) to calm her aching and maybe make her hungry. She CANT. She is stuck ion Illinois, sick as bloody hell, and she can’t do anything to help herself. She motivates me to educate the public. She is the one who drives me to point out that marijuana is ONLY illegal and was ONLY given a bad wrap by a company that would have been put out of business had Cannabis kept being used in products (paper, etc). It is not a dangerous drug (it actually helped me get off Cocaine and Heroin). Non violent marijuana offenders shouldn’t be crowding up our prisons.

I’m sorry, I know I was just talking about marijuana, but I still dont understand how the government is allowed to tell us what we can and cannot put into our own bodies. If some crackhead wants to score a rock and ruin his life, he should be allowed to. But, you all know our government wants to make sure gangs and drug cartels keep existing…cause those are great, huh?

end rant

PS-remember, I will be signing KUSH LA magazines September 19th at the 4th annual LA County Medical Marijuana Expo & Patients Expo! http://*******/5phJS Come on down, smoker or not, and learn about the wonderful benefits of medical marijuana…and check out some quality buds and smoking devices (and vaps)

drug dealers/traffickers are the ones in prison, not regular drug users and the regular drug users that ARE in prison usually have a suitcase full when they got arrested. she needs to be educated on prison.

ur average pothead teen is not going to prison for weed. i hate when pro legalization debaters exaggerate and say that our prisons are filled with potheads

county jail? maybe... prison? no
