That's a weird question. I mean, why not? You got to put your hands somewhere, and there aren't thousands of choices. So that's why.

Also, bringing your arm backwards makes your back more straight and brings your chest forward, which adds more beauty (in general, people prefer a woman with nice forward breasts and straight back). And it also gets the arm out of the way of the boobs if the camera is on the side
