The DLC controlls the Dems, the religious right has the GOP. Not good in either case. If the DNC (not too likely) or RLC (virtually never likely) of either, respectively, then things might change for the better. Not likely in any case...

or alternatively, why should someone not be voted in ?

personally im rooting for Obama for Presidency. I think he would make the white house look respectable again. also, hilray clinton for Vice.
