I mainly use Chrome. I just downloaded the latest version of Firefox though and it looks really great with the new and improved interface.

I do the same thing when saving Instagram pics but I use Firefox. You should use Firefox instead

There should be harsher penalties for hacker and virus makers.


Firefox is not good either: crashes, crashes computers, freezes, memory leaks, and so on.

Same thing with Chrome. Internet browsers need to be safer and work much better than they do.

Who's going to fix this problem?

I agree. Lots of problems with crashes and freezes with Firefox

Same thing with Chrome.

Chrome was great at its outset. Stripped down, simple and efficient. But with each "upgrade" it seems to develop more problems. I still use it but not exclusively anymore.

Well, you can at least have solace in the fact that exploits will always target the most popular of browsers. More targets equals a better success rate.

If IE ever does die (Microsoft would have to throw in the towel, not gonna happen!), someone else is next on the block. I'm guessing chrome since they package it with almost every download these days.

Basically, we're all screwed. You can buy yourself some time and hop around... but I'd just start running for the hills!

It's not exactly that IE sucks (actually, it does because where something works fine on Chrome or FF, it'll almost always be broken in IE), it's more that it has a huge security exploit.

If you insist on using it, fine. But use something else until Microsoft can get a fix into the pipelines.

I've never had any problems with Chrome or Firefox. Yeah maybe once or twice it's crashed on me but nothing major. If your browsers are crashing alot, maybe it's your computer and not the browser? Ever since I got my Macbook Air I've been virus free. Before that I had an old beat up Dell an that thing would crash all the time and it would get infected with malware and trojan horses all the time. For security, I use Sophos Antivirus for Mac, which is free, in addition to using AdBlock which is an add-on you can download in both Chrome and Firefox. As long as you have antivirus software installed on your computer and you're not frequenting sketchy websites or out in the deep web, you should be alright
