which version of the American anthem is better?

Marvin Gaye sings the american national anthem at 1983 NBA All Star Game.

being that i'm not American this might seem like a strange
choice but i think he and the performance were simply outstanding. :2 cents: :hatsoff:

ed007 my man....and this maybe a post for another thread but sorry, in terms of the national anthem of the US....this version is unmatched.. A tear wells up in my eye every time I hear this....

well, i guess the best thing to do is have a poll
and let the good folk of the FreeOnes board decide.

obviously i think marvin gaye's is better. i believe
he would have eaten Whitney for breakfast on stage
and ravaged her veg patch for dinner.
