I wouldn't recommend going to this particular Carvel. I read Yelp reviews of this store as a guilty pleasure. I wanted to make a return trip to out-weird the owner but changed my mind when I read reviews about the sanitary conditions. The Chocolate Malt he made for me looked like Chilled Diarrhea anyway.

Every single person from Palmdale, Canoga Park, Long Beach, Northridge, Los Angeles, etc. gave this poor owner a "1" rating on Yelp.

You gotta go in there first before feeling sorry for the owner. The Powers That Be at Carvel should shut down his store. It’s the only Carvel store around and this slob owner is giving the Carvel name a bad reputation.

It might be ironic how the bad reviews might be generating traffic from people who want to see how bad it really is. The place has been getting bad reviews for a while and people still appear to be going there.

I remember a friend told me about a noodle house in Darwin that served the "galaxy's worse ramen". And when I finally went to that city (it's literally in a coastal rainforest), the first place I went for dinner was that place. It didn't disappoint.
