i quite like beat it, apart from Eddie van Halen's solo. it just doesn't work with the rest of the song, and its as if EvH is just there to show off. mind you, i don't really like much of van Halen's solos... good riffs, but wanky solos.

While I think vid and production/musical value of Billie Jean was the best of all his work, I much prefer Weird Al's versions of his songs; my personal favorite was "Eat It!".
I was hanging down in Guatemala at the time it was out, and it was immensely popular there; both the humor factor of the DJ's who knew what the lyrics said, and the regular folks who thought it was Jocko.
