What's the most famous/infamous thing(s) a relative of yours has done?

A lot of cool stuff happened to my late grandfather. He helped capture a famous nazi during WWII - I doubt anyone will believe who.
He also went to the last World Series the Cubs were ever in with my grandmother right after coming back from the war. (Thats famous to Chicagoans)
Some mobster stole his lucrative hot dog vending job, that catered to the workers during the construction boom in Chicago in the 60's, and gave it to his nephew. Just like in the Godfather! -truth
Me - I've never done jack.
Some other stuff with other family members, but most people get bored when reading this far and probably don't care either.

One of my relatives (great-great-great-great grandpa I believe), was the Chief for the Nez Pierce tribe. I've always thought that was pretty cool.
My uncle has been on nationally broadcast TV shows a few times. He is a brilliant math teacher and he has been blind his whole life. The "biggest" show he was on was Dateline NBC, when they did a segment on him. I've always thought that was pretty cool as well.

I don't think that any of my close relatives have ever done anything famous.
I've been told that my family is somehow connected to a well known person of my country, but I don't really put much faith in that, and it's besides very distant anyway. Not someone I'd ever think of as a relative.

That's too bad. I put mine up on my house's doorway. It helps to keep away solicitors.
My great uncle piloted a bomber that was shot down behind enemy lines in Germany during WW2. He got a purple heart and other commendations for saving three of his comrades.
My uncle was killed by the Mafia here in NJ, because he wouldn't sell his restaurant.
