Tonight we had these fellas between Botanique and Simonis. But usually it's a boring ride on the subway

Nazi Mega Weapons on PBS and the original Matrix. It's my bday and I'm having root canal tomorrow so I didn't do anything really fun. I did get a really nice gas grill, so I got that going for me. Which is nice.
I am requesting a burger pic on that new grill.

Good luck with the root canal. I'll be thinking of you....to say that it isn't fun is an understatement so just grunt and bear it. You a tough dude.....you can handle it. I suspect you won't want to make it a habit however. :eek:
As for me....I'll be watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. Nothing better for drama and excitement. :thumbsup:

Thanks, it wound up being a surgical extraction because the decay was too close to the jaw bone. Abject lesson in dental hygiene. Now I have to heal up and get a bridge put in. I should have taken a selfie. My face swelled up so much that my right eye was nearly shut. That Ethopian dentist didn't fuck around, mang. Thank God for tylenol three. He offered vicodin or norc and I flatly refused. Family history of addictions.
When I had my wisdom teeth pulled in boot camp (all four of 'em.) I wanted to refuse pain meds as well but once the docs prescribe something you pretty much have to get it filled. I wound up flushing the valium and gritting my way through dry sockets.
This experience was worse. Maybe I'm getting a little soft in my old age.

Fuck that noise, man. I have a family history too, but when it comes to dental work, I'll take my chances. I wanna be knocked the fuck out. Like Keith Richards- in-1972-on-a-bender knocked out. I wanna be so high I find out for sure if there's a God.
After my wife left me, I fuckin' tried to be a full-fledged, brush-my-teeth-with-bourbon alcoholic, but I didn't become one.
It was then that I realized the truth: I'm not an alcoholic, I'm a goddamn professional.
Don't even get me started on the hockey playoffs. Fuckin' refs....
