It's been awhile since I created the initial Sneak Peak thread about the brand new FreeOnes we're creating from the inside out. This is because there was a lot of things going on behind the scenes that you, as a user, couldn't really see.
- syncing user (myFreeOnes) accounts from the old databaase to the new
- syncing user comments for babes, photos and videos
- syncing performer rankings and ratings
- getting site channels synced over
There was a lot more behind the scenes action going on, but that was the main bit. However, we do have some new functionality ready for your inspection!
1. Right now you can go to babe sections, photos and videos and see comments that have already been left. If you want to leave a comment (and check out the really cool emotes you can use!) just log in with your myFreeOnes account! If you don't have a myFreeOnes account you need to register at http://my.freeones.com and wait about 24 hours for your account to sync. Unfortunately, this can not be avoided at this point! It is a work in progress!
2. On the profile page of a babe, you can click any of the existing information and see all babes with that info. So all Scorpios or all girls with blue eyes.
3. On the photo and videos, you can click a category tag and see all photos or videos with that category tag.
4. We now have proper bread crumbs on the pages through the site.
5. On the video page, we changed the thumb nails to make them look nicer. A minor cosmetic change but it looks pretty nice.
Coming soon...
- User profile page that shows some basic account info
- Report comment functionality (this will be the base for reporting other things)
- Your favorites should be attached to your account
- Channels (individual porn site sections) should be available
- Be able to follow (favorite) babes
- Ranking should be shown on the site (its there now behind the scenes, this is putting the graphics so you can see it)
- Sharing pages, photos or videos via social, mail, etc
- Optimizing search
Before the end of the year...
- user notifications (about things submitted, accepted, rejected, ect)
- pay site reviews
- getting site logos onto photo and video pages
- allowing users to upload avatars to accounts
- suggesting cast to photo galleries and videos (i.e. there will be more than 1 performer that can be on the gallery/video)
So please feel free to go over to http://www.freeones.vg and click around, play with the site and let us know if you find anything weird or wonky. And feel free to ask questions about anything you haven't seen. Chances are it's in the production pipe line but for a later time!
