What song, brings you "home"?

The night they drove old Dixie down-The Band.
Fortunate son-Creedence.

The lyrics are kind of fitting for such a situation. I mean in the lyrics it's like the person in question has gone from this world. And they are now in the afterlife and they are experiancing their idea of what paradise is. At least this is my take on the meaning to the lyrics.

I can think of only one song that I want to have played @ my funeral, Arpegiateur by Jean Michel Jarre. It's the greatest piece of electronic music ever concieved.

Played at our funeral? OK. Clicking on this thread, I was going to go with various 3 Dog Night/Doobie Bros./Grateful Dead songs. But, for my funeral:

If you're impatient to see why, forward to 2:00.

When I was growing up my dad always had some Beatles, Zombies, Keith Green, or some Bob Dylan playing. Any of those bring me back to those days. Any of the late 90s rap music brings me back to partying at Js when we were in high school. We used to party there every weekend because his dad was away every weekend. What I wouldn't give to go back and do it all over again.

For my funeral... Only one choice really.

Docent död (a.k.a Docenterna) - Solglasögon

It´s all about how good life is if you have a pair of sunglasses on.
