Agreed somewhat. I like to be on the edge of the city so on one side I have modern society, and on the other side I have peace and quiet.

I'd like to live for a little while in Hawaii. I was here when I was in the Army. I'd also like to live in Germany or somewhere in Europe. But for now, I'm happy living in my home state and country.

We have lots of healthcare here you just have to pay for it.
But, thats not the point of the post. I have lived 14 places in the last 21 years and I think Cali is at the bottom of the list. Two stops there and I didn't like the PC police that seem to be everywhere there and the high state taxes and fees. Great weather though!
I like Florida. The natural disasters are kind enough to give me enough warning to head north and no income tax.

I'm pretty happy where I live, but the girlfriend hates it. If I was able to live anywhere I would probably pick a nice countryside in Italy.
someplace where I don't have to listen to screaming kids and people playing shitty music all day long. actually, any music, it could be my own cd collection for all I care, just a place where people had enough respect for their neighbors to consider that maybe everyone else doesn't want to hear their shit all the time. Maybe not having to share 5 walls with 5 different people would be a good start.

I waited for nearly 4 hours in an EMERGENCY room once. I severely cut my arm on glass and was bleeding like crazy...for 4 hours. Then, when the nurse finally came out, she got mad at me for bleeding on the floor. Apparently, she thought that the t-shirt which was wrapped around my forearm was sufficient enough to absorb the bucket full of blood that I spurted out...she was wrong.
Stupid bitch. I wish I could go back in time just so I could spit in her face.
