Whether or not you believe in hell (which I personally don't), what do you think would be the worst way to spend eternity?
I saw a play once where hell was a white room with doors but you couldn't leave. There were a bunch of people in there with only each other for company forever. Maybe eternal boredom would be worse than the traditional fires of hell...
