What is Your Definition of Porn?

The worlds of erotic modelling and hardcore porn are closely related, with many companies and women doing both. Something I have been thinking about lately is that a lot of people seem to have different definitions of porn, porn actress and pornstar. What is your opinion of what porn is?

Myself, I refer to anything where the main purpose is to show nudity as porn. This would include topless-only and full-nude modelling in addition to hardcore scenes. But is it really correct to refer to a nude model such as Aimee Sweet or Erica Campbell as a porn actress or pornstar? Or is there even ambiguity between those two terms? Thoughts on any of the questions posed would be appreciated.

I use the same definition of porn as you do, and I do think that there should be a differentiation made between someone who does hardcore porn and someone who just poses nude. Though I refer to the whole industry as "porn," I would definitely not consider Erica Campbell a pornstar.

I think there is a difference between pornstars and nude models, too. Or you can say hardcore to porn and softcore to showing pussy or asshole. Unfortunately, the freeones list doesn't make this difference between Pornstars and centerfolds correctly! But i think that doesn't matter to much. If the girl is cute, I think it's not very bad to find out, what she really is!

my definition of porn?

Porn is GREAT! :1orglaugh

among all arts, porn is the most important for us!

seriously, I think that it is obvious... all hardcore stuff is porn (and the definition of hardcore is in the freeones rules ;))

I agree that if a girl is just posing nude (without fingering, or dildoing etc) she is just an erotic model. though, I think that some poses (like spread-ass) are hardcore even without penetration.

Nudity is not porn. Even if a gal wants to show off her pubescentness. It's still not porn. Now if said gal started to insert things--i.e. gardening equipment--into said pubescence, then it becomes porn. Also if there's a dick in the picture. :o

Porn is the enjoyment of sex while others watch. :D

anything that you feel the urge to masterbate to.

revision: not just anything you sick pervert. but there has to be a general consensus that the subject in question is common stroke material.

My definition of porn:

Porn = internet

Porn is hardcore sex, masterbation, use of sex toys on video and pictures. Nude modelling is not porn but is considered to be Adult Content like how porn is considered sometimes. Me and my girlfriend went to a sex shop the other day and they keep the porn dvds and the educational/ sex guides dvds seperate cause porn is entertainment while sex guides and stuff are educational even if they may also contain explicit sex.
I mean people don't consider sex scenes in films as porn even if there is full frontal nudity in them. If they do then that means we might as well say the American Pie films, Road Trip and other movies similar to those is porn.

There's a difference between nude modeling such as doing artistic nudes vs. the type of modeling Erica Campbell does. One is done solely as a means of artistic creativity... while the other is done with the sole intention of arousing the viewer. While each can possess parts of the other, meaning you can have nude pics that are meant to be both artistic and arousing... for me the arousing factor is the line that differentiates artistic model work from "porn".

I will say however, that I generally dislike the word porn. It puts a broad negative connotation on everything it is applied to. Even b/g hardcore I classify as erotic, not porn. It's like calling **** or a fine spirit "*****".

There's softcore porn and hardcore porn. Softcore porn can depict sexual acts as well, the crossover to hardcore happens when we see the actual penetration - i.e. can say for sure that the sex is real and not faked.

nudity - self explanatory
softcore porn - showing of the genitalia
hardcore porn - straight up fucking
