Seriously, does no one coding these things think that might be a little problematic? I just came from two different indie video sharing platforms and they both have this feature where you can't watch unless you're friends with the uploader. The uploader, most of the time, appears to be a bot account so what the hell? It's a total monopoly. Worst part is that you can't even complain to the owner because the website has no contact us option to speak of.
What is the point of websites where you need to be a "friend" of the uploader to watch their content?

But they exist, and the point is to be.. obtuse to the user. Go elsewhere if you cannot solve their puzzle and jump thru hoops.
The bot could auto respond. Could do do after a set time. Could do so automatically. Could only respond to certain stimuli. Be like hacker. Explore. Test. Try.
Login as bot. Approve yourself. Create secondary su. Delete logs. Upload snooki 2010. Shun snooki 2020.

Hmmmm. So it sounds like he came across camwhores.tv. Where the uploaders record a live show of a cam girl. The thing is that she doesn't know that she's being recorded. (in effect, that's stealing from her) or she may be recording it for prosperity but there is a second and third copy out there (same thing, it's stealing from her) and then he uploads or they upload the archived show to camwhores.tv. You have to become a "friend" of the uploader(s) to watch the videos. It's marked as a "private" show. Now if that doesn't make you crazy, then the other things will make you nuts. The amount of pop up ads and spam over there plays a big part as well. Tabs in Chrome open up simultaneously and you have to close them back up quickly. Then lastly, there are also many username / password issues over there too. The website doesn't remember your username and password. You have to enroll, re-enroll, enroll, re-enroll, enroll, re-enroll several times. The site never keeps your information in their database. It's totally insane. I just say forget about it. Don't even attempt it. Joining the website that is.
