Just wondering what you all think of a cutter gal - at least that's what her arm looks like to me.
Is cutting hot or not?
I think not - as I believe there is something not quite right about self mutilation.

This phrase sums up my ex quite perfectly. She claimed she was a cutter before I ever met her, but she also said a lot of other things that probably weren't true.

It's funny; there is or at least, were a few big name web girls and solo girls who were clearly cutters. You can see it early sets as they were cleverly hidden or photoshopped out in later ones.

It's apparently really fucking common, or at least was. I knew cutters in high school and briefly dated on in college (something I found out mid-relationship). Physically or aesthetically it didn't bother me, but I always wondered if it's just a temporary ease, cry for help or, worse, something that'll get worse and more significant gradually.

But ultimately, I think it's a harmless trend brought on by hormones and it eventually goes away leaving the former cutter to laugh at the embarrassing behavior when adulthood brings on a sense of triviality.

I think tattoos and piercings are disgusting, and that's at least got some kind of vague artistic meaning. Cutting is not only unattractive because of the way it looks, but the psychological issues that the girl has to have to cut herself in the first place are unattractive. :2 cents:

Reminds of that movie Thirteen.
Don't put the mash on me, but that movie kinda made me sad for the girl who had inner demons and found cutting as a release.
Cutters do need some kind of intervention to find the source of their cutting and put an end to it.
Their scars will travel with them.
