What the porn industry serves up is probably reflecting our desires. Or does it? I wonder...
I think MUCH of porn today belies an actual resentment and hostility to women. Where it comes from, I don't know. Maybe the mentality that some men have that, "Sex is something women have and men want." And given that most of would like more sex, that mentality could lead to a resentment that women aren't sharing something we want so very much. It is probably the same mentality that actually has the belief that a woman's sex drive can be directly correlated with her bra size. Whatever the origins of this resentment, here is where I think it manifests itself and I am afraid reinforces the resentment and hostility I believe shown here:
1) Preoccupation with anal sex. Sure, I've had a couple of partners that actually liked it. Great. I don't. It just seems disgusting and nasty. Would I do it for my partner sure - whenever she wanted it. But reality is that MOST women don't like it. As often performed in the movies, it is DANGEROUS and degrading. A2M being the pinnacle of what I perceive to be this hostility. I don't think that hepatitis has been eliminated. There is no sensual element to A2M, i.e., having a woman give oral to a cock straight out of a rectum doesn't add to the PHYSICAL sensation experienced by the man. PSYCHOLOGICAL? I suppose for some but how & why? These actresses sometimes require SURGERY because of rough anal sex. Some can't even do a good job of masking their dislike of it. And there seem to be a fair amount of videos that strike a balance (oral creampies and vaginal creampies) wherein the man is inside (or almost) the woman but his ejaculate is apparent. I don't think there's any man here who has any doubt as to the exact moment any male actor ejaculates. As such do I really need to see him pull it out and shoot it in her eyes, up her nostrils, or all over her body? I have found that european porn isn't so formulaic and 'fast' and is often more sensual. Some of the italian and french videos are awesome and I relish finding one that seems more 'human' to me.
