What do you consider fake?

Okay so I was recently looking at some pics of a couple women's chests who had had kids a couple years ago and I must say there was a very big difference, their boobs almost hit their knees! Now, I love my boobs but after I have my 2 kids if they look saggy at all I am getting a breast lift. I told my friend this and she said "Oh well I'm not really a fan of fake boobs" So do you think that women who have breast lifts or even breast reductions for that matter should be considered to have 'fake boobs'?

I think it's a bit unfair to compare that to implants... I mean, you're not really adding anything, so it's nothing "fake"... not to mention they have very practical justifications not just pure aesthetics.

I certainly don't think of lifting or reducing as fake. A bad doctor can still mess them up with scars or getting the sizing wrong, but it's not "fake".

But with that said, I have a contract out on the doctor that shrunk Jennifer Connelly's boobs. When I find him, we're gonna dig a hole.

Kind of O/T, but what fascinated me about seeing a girl from high school that I hadn't see in years (after she had a kid)... her nipples and areolas were crazy big. Yes, Rey was much, much happy. But that seems to be the one thing about pregnancy that affects women's boobs as much or more than anything: bigger nipples... bigger areolas. :lovecoupl

A lift or reduction obviously doesnt add anything artificial to the breasts so therefore it cannot be fake but even if it was so what? Way to many people to much emphasis on "Fake" or "Real" I say if the girl looks good she looks good.

Getting surgery done to your boobs for medical reasons is much, much different than getting them enlarged for vanities sake.

I know girls who've gotten theirs reduced due to years of back pain. That's a completely different thing than getting big implants so guys will stare at your tits and therefore make your life more complete.

In your case, doll...I hope you take lots and lots of pictures of yours before you get them altered in any way.

Well even if you did it for vanity it's your choice. Most women have mastopessy along with breast augmentations and that helps a lot not making breasts look empty.
I'd say you go for the way you prefer yourself to look after surgery either it's lifting, reducing or increasing because that's what you do it for; yourself.

I wouldn't consider that fake. If you got actual implants then yes but playing around with what you've got isn't fake.

Who cares what she thinks? Don't let her get to you like that. It's really not a big deal. Discuss it first with your husband since he is the one who is going to be spending the most time with you.

There is nothing wrong with fake boobs. What you described (even after 6 months now ) is not the same as getting implants as others have pointed out.

Don't let baby weight become booty weight....that's all anyone should care about :thumbsup:

Hmm, good question.

If a woman has a breast reduction, it is usually for health reasons, so I wouldn't consider that form of tissue manipulation to be fake at all. They aren't doing that so they look better; they are doing that to improve their health.

But, when women get breast implants and/or breast lifts, it is purely for visual effect, so I would always consider that form of tissue manipulation to be extremely fake. Whether it's to please their own ego and raise their self-esteem or if it's just so they can get dudes to stare at them, breast implants and breast lifts are always to get attention and look better. Fake, fake, fake.

Sure it is. If I took fat out of my stomach and had it surgically implanted in the shaft of my penis to make it longer, it would no longer be my penis. Even though I would be "playing around with what (I've) got", it would still be a fake penis.

FYI - I'm assuming you were talking about breast lifts and not reductions.

Its fake when you add something to it... I don't care if its silicon or your on ass fat. Thats fake! When you reshape or reduce what you have its not fake but it is dishonest. I have no problem with reduction when they are affecting you physically or medically needed. But for vanitys sake.... just wrong.

No, I wouldn't call them fake. It's all a matter of goal. Fake breasts are fake because they're an attempt to create an appearance that isn't natural to that person's body (or anyone's body, usually). Not natural = Fake.

However, what you're describing is an attempt to create an appearance that at one time was natural to your body, but isn't anymore. Even if you have to put an implant in to get the same volume as you once did, the overal goal and (hopefully) result is restoration rather than recreation.

Breast lifts aren't natural either. A breast lift is done by surgery, which is far from Mother Nature's intentions. So, in that sense (using your own argument of attempting to create an appearance that isn't natural), then you are calling them fake.
