Went to my first gunshow ever!!!

Last Saturday afternoon I was bored and was off from work. My sis called me and asked me to go to a gun show with her. I don't believe in guns but I thought, "Aw, what the hell, why not?"

Apparently there is a HUGE problem getting in certain guns and bullets. There were more tables selling equipment to make your own bullets than tables selling manufactured bullets. A lot of guns, especially Glocks, are in high demand, thus explaining their shortage. A lot of vendors were telling me they can't even get certain firearms in at all!

Hey, if you ever go to a gun show, use this line......it kills every time! A vendor asks what gun you like and you respond by saying, "Whichever one that can shoot down the drones that fly over my house." Ha, ha, ha. That really gets 'em going!

Needless to say, I'm 100% positive that Amendment #2 can never be repealed. The age range of attendees was well mixed. There were guys in their 70's walking around carrying 2 semi-automatics, one in each hand, plus more strapped on their back. Their mindset is the Gov't can take their guns out of their cold, dead hands. It will be a revolution/massacre if #2 ever gets repealed.

It was good to stand amongst so many Patriots. This is info you will never see in the MSM. So, to all gun collectors out there, best to get them now before it's too late.

Gun shows are an extreme mix of American salesmen to patriots to nut job skin heads never a dull moment. Go to a couple every year.

It's a shame that you're just discovering gun shows. I try to get out to one every few months.

Gun Shows are awesome. Can usually grab a few good deals. Especially the last day... those guy would rather sell it than pack it up and take it home again. I love gun shows. Glad to hear you went to one. Keep goin!

It would be their undoing. :elaugh:

So, how many guns did you buy?

They're fun aren't they? "Trooper Buddy" and I will probably attend the big one at the Civic Center next month. I'm not really looking to buy anything else, but I love to window shop. You always meet some cool people, as well as some neophytes and paranoid goofballs at gunshows - they're a good form of entertainment and fun for us. If Trooper buys a new P229 Enhanced Elite in .40 S&W, maybe I'll buy his old one if he'll make me a good deal. And if I get his old P229, I'll likely get the Sig Adaptive Carbine Platform. Since it will also fit my Glocks, maybe I'll get it anyway. Just watching this video gave me wood. Baaad ass! :drool2:

Shit fire, Rey.... that's a Navy Sig!

Ah, so it is. Nice, well made weapons. Though a little pricey, I like Sigs Sauers.

Love my Glock 19 thing never misfires, easy to clean, and just a great all around firearm.

There is no substitute. I carry one, trust it completely...in fact I trust all of my Sig's, and was just on their website recently and was ecstatic to see, they now offer a 7.62x51, to go along with their AR line. It's just as pricey as a SCAR, or an LMT...but it's nice to see another option.
