Like Jaana mentioned those sites screw over every model on them. Even sites like redtube and pornhub have found ways to get money back to porn studios, but with stolen webcam content the model makes absolutely nothing off of it and it discourages us from making new content at all. So if you like a model and want new content from her in the future don't steal content or support sites that do.
I thought people were specifically paying for the LIVE show. Are not only watching, bu you are in the contact with the model. Recorded is different, isn't it?

I can see you completely missed my point. And actually there aren't that many stolen shows on there so good luck finding them. So continuing that backwards type of thinking you shouldn't pay for music unless you are seeing it live at a concert, or you shouldn't pay to see a movie unless it is a live play.. Explicit shows are either done in private where its a one on one experience not meant for other eyes. Or it is done in a public setting where there isn't much interaction but people have paid for the show. So no unless the model is getting residuals for the recorded shows it is not ok.
That indeed is the concept. A good cam girl is good cause of her live shows, recorded shows without the actual interaction shouldn't be an issue.

Recorded shows hurt us, period. Yes, people come to us because they like the live interaction and yes a recorded show is not the same thing but some guys don't care as much. They just want to see that particular cam girl doing her thing, and don't give a shit about compensating her or not. if recorded shows didn't hurt us, we wouldn't be so adamant about them getting taken down once they're up. You pay for the ability to see us, not to record us.
But good to know that you have no respect for what we do and that you think our shit being stolen isn't a big deal.

Traffic statistics aren't model revenue statistics. And 99% of webcam videos are stolen, just because you posted one site that has videos that aren't doesn't change the fact that most are stolen content.

I like you Roald but no offense you have no idea what you are talking about. If they own that site then they are making money off of the many advertisements on there and the model is making residuals, or they are just trying to desperately generate traffic and the model is being screwed by the videos being put out. Why? Because most people do not care about interaction and do not pay for shows when they are handed to them for free.

Of course the main source of money comes from the live interaction but if you can interact live for free and then just go view stolen content when you want something more explicit you are getting the best of both worlds for nothing. You are basing your opinion of the subject on traffic numbers(hey look we handed out free shit and more people came) and "talks" with people. I actually live the statistics everyday and stolen videos and recorded shows that were preformed live do hurt revenue. That is a fact, not an opinion to disagree with but I still :heart: you.

Edit or not it hurts model revenue regardless of what you have been told.
I believe that free content up 'till specific extend (that doesn't make all those live shows completely worthless) actually is necessary and has positive effect for cam-show business working as advertisement and helps those girls "to be found". Do you think that people will register blindly to random cam-girl page more if they have no idea what to expect or just to chat with a random camgirl to kill time? They are much more likely to register there just because they are horny and want to wank for hot girls. This is more likely to happen when they actually have seen some trailers or gallery of hot babe performing and then wanting to see more of her and register to those pages to see her perform? Thought unlike normal porn movies where girls do not even know most of people wanking for them, lacking interaction and being more of fan based, being a camgirl is more of a customer service based job that includes more private sessions and interaction. But even those people do not come to talk to you just because they liked your artist name (unless they are browsing for boredom all those zillions of porn chicks out there), but most likely they thought you are hot or whatever costume or joke got their attention and rest might build up afterwards.
