the good news is, it looks like I might be receiving a small bit of settlement moolah from Manwin/Brazzers, who stole my personal photo (without my permission, obvs) to use in some very insulting and reductive advertisements for one of their "adult dating" websites. If that falls into place it will help me buy some of the gear I need to continue creating and expanding my own productions.

Why in the name of Kobol do they even have the "need" to steal pictures??? :wtf: With all the tons and tons of images and material in their archives - to which they own the copyright, do they need to go around trolling the interweb and stealing other peoples photos??? :troll2: I'm seriously doubting the managing competence of whoever is in charge over there. In the long run it seems like they're really trying to bring that company down.

they also took down pornstar punishment and a lot other scenes without giving notice to the members. stop shooting the scenes would be one thing but just take them down without giving the members a chance to download the scenes is just crap. since im a member due to the win of the 7 million post contest (thanks again FO) i read through the forums searching for the reason for that and read that a lot of members are unhappy about that.

My exact reaction when I read who the winners were, "man the board is going to be PISSED".

BECAUSE I SPEND ENOUGH TIME ON THE BOARD TO KNOW THAT, unlike some of the winners. EY OH. Kidding, not kidding.

I admit it's disappointing not to have seen some far more interactive girls take #1 in some of these categories.
If thousands of dollars in prize money still only gets you in here with a negative attitude when you're barely here at all, it's just lame.
I mean it's really gut wrenching to me to see someone take the head title who has a post count of 20 something on the board.
So many girls here spend hours a week, if not hours a day, on FreeOnes, regardless of contests.

That's nothing personal against the girls who did win.
I just hope everyone that wins considers it an incentive to actually interact with their fans ON FreeOnes, and show some appreciation for the site.

When Andi came third last year, in Best Adult Model, she had been in first spot throughout the second round for all but 3-4 hours of that week's voting; it was looking good for her. That was despite her fans being at a disadvantage of not having the points value that some others had. Many this year did the same as I did, not bother voting until the last round, when the votes became important. I know that it true. Andi was also encouraging her fans NOT to vote for her in the OCSM category, saying there were others much more deserving than her to win that. Indeed she has also been asking her fans to use their spare votes for others in the same category she was competing, for Brianna, for Lucy and others, on her blog, and on twitter. This would have hurt her chances of winning greatly. Andi has been around since 2005, previously as Andi Pink, and runs her own solo program all by herself, I can't think of anyone more deserving, or honest, to receive the recognition of Best Adult Model, despite you knowing for certain you have never seen a post for her. WAY

I just wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who voted for me. I ended up at #25 in the Miss Freeones category and #10 in the Best OCSM category. I wasn't expecting to get that high up in either categories.

Well, judging from the fact that they own several piracy (excuse me, "tube") sites where content from other non-Manwin-owned sites constantly shows up, um, I think they're pretty well-rehearsed in the art of stealing. I can't figure out why more performers don't care about this, lol. Just read the wikipedia page on Manwin. They have more money than God, and the way the business operates seems immoral to me, but hey, there's not much room to argue in favor of morality in the real world in general, let alone the porn world.

3. For Best Adult Model ... where did Andi Land come from!? Are we to believe that she is that popular on FO? Really? Now, I know for certain I have never seen a post from her. Throughout the contest, this category was clearly a two-way race between Brianna Lee and Xo Gisele. There's no way ANYONE else sprints ahead of them down the home stretch. No way.

I won't speculate on the HOW or the WHO here. But the results defy logic.

Oh, it's no big mystery how standings can possibly change from Rounds 1 & 2 to the standings at the end of the contest. Remember, the number of votes we are allotted changes from 10 in Round 1 ... to 5 in Round 2 ... to 3 in Round 3. So, of course, voting strategy changes drastically throughout the contest. So, easily, contestants who were leading in Rounds 1 & 2 can fall behind in Round 3 and vice versa.

With the voting scheme of Round 3 seriously shortchanging us in votes, everyone has to give some very serious thought to whom they support in Round 3. Thus, that can definitely make for some contestants seemingly sprinting out of nowhere ahead of others. Plus, when some contestants are very popular in say, 3 categories, that can actually be counterproductive because their Fans' votes get spread out and consequently diluted among multiple categories.

Throw in that Andi Land IS a very nice, very well-liked Hot & Sexy Cutie who does interact with her Fans and treats us to great content, well ... I can attest to there being many of us who supported and voted for her everyday. And since I've been chatting with her on FreeOnes, I can confirm that she does indeed post here. :yesyes:
