Vintage Posters/Adverts Thread

I love those old posters and newspaper adverts from yesteryear.
I'm particularly fond of the really old 30's/40's posters that advertised stuff like chocolate or tea, even the old wartime propaganda posters...
I thought I'd start a thread, for links to sites that show some of them.

Here are some sites with the sort of thing I mean..

Great Idea, Tunsty !
I have a stack of old newspapers of historical significance.
Unfortunately, the oldest one I have is "Man on the Moon" circa '69.
Look here ! Ted Kennedy hasn't changed a bit, over the years lol !

My oldest sis, at one time, had a big stack of psychodelic concert posters (link 1) from the 60's & 70's.
From what I hear, they might be worth a small fortune !

Great links BTW !

Heh, I actually like vintage posters along with other antiques. :) The frame with the covers was given to me when I bought my house. I live in the "comic book" neighborhood and of course Kick Wilstra is my street.

I know, not the doom and gloom you expected.

I like the old VW ads, but also the old travel posters.

I suppose they could be considered 'art', of sorts.
Certainly, a lot of work went into those old posters.. all done in proper paint/ink etc.
These days, there is too much emphasis on computer generated stuff.
