I'm trying to get every movie based on a video game in my collection. I only have a few so far at the moment but I was wondering if you guys could make some suggestions if I've forgotten any. I can think of these so far (what I have is on my signature)

Resident Evil
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat Annhiliation
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider 2
Super Mario Bros.
Wing Commander
House of the Dead
Street Fighter
Double Dragon

Mortal Kombat (ugh...)

Mortal Kombat: Annhiliation (terrible. just terrible.)

Resident Evil (hmmm...not so bad)

Tomb Raider (kinda cool, but the plot isn't so hot)

Tomb Raider 2 (just got alittle improved, but need more work on the plot)

Super Mario Bros. (will someone PLEASE just shoot me?)

House Of The Dead (I...wanna...eat...that...director!)

Street Fighter (someone please kick Van's ass already!)

Double Dragon (I don't think it was based on the games...I think it was orginally based on the cartoons?)

Wing Commander (what's that? never heard of that flick...)


So far, I think Resident Evil is proably the only movie that well done with the plot and all...cool special effects, cool actors and actresses, and even the monster with the long tongue...that was just awesome!

so I can't wait for Resident Evil 2 coming in theatres next year.

and Jill Valentine...oh yeah baby!!! lol

Are we all forgetting about Tron?? Yeah i agree most video game movies do suck, but i did like Mortal Kombat and well the Tomb Raider films simply cause of Angelina Jolie. Any other actress in the role and the movies would have sucked.

I hear they may make a Max Payne film with Nicolas Cage, which could be interesting, since it plays more like a movie instead of a game.

I will count Final Fantasy though since none of the games have anything to do with each other anyhow save x and x-2

Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil and the first Tomb Raider are my favorite 3 off that list.

also I've always kinda wanted to see a doom movie myself, Bruce Willis can be the space marine and when he walks up to a wall it gets all pixelated like the original 2 games

The best game not to have a movie made is Metal Gear Solid. That would make a kick ass movie. I mean the game itself is the best ever made in my book and a movie would be sick ass!!!!

yeah I forgot the street fighter animated movies, chun li had a naked shower scene in the original one, I'll add the MK and Tekken animated movies as well.

I think the movie would be better if it's just computer animated or anime-style animation...not live action.

I've heard the Duke Nukem would be made into a movie also...perhas Arnold "The Terminator" Schwarenzzger would be perfect lol but he proably won't take that role anyway

again, I think most videogames-based movies are better off into animation than live action.

After Final Fantasy tanked, I seriously doubt they will do computer animation again, they lost a serious amount of money off that film. Disney and pixar are the only ones who do it right.

Gotta respect Slackercrumbs for admitting he actually owns the movie Super Mario Brothers. You deserve a beer for that one my friend.

Oh people are making a Return to Castle Wolfenstein movie. My favorite game online is becoming a movie!!!! Great game should be a great movie
