Bassist Michael Anthony has been replaced by lead guitarist Eddie Van Halen's 16-year-old son, Wolfgang.

Eddie Van Halen's arrogant, obnoxious, I'm the boss attitude will cause everything to come crashing down. Not to mention thew fact that Micheal Anthony's absence from this all makes it an even bigger joke....I can't wait to see the train wreck.

Seems like the first time Roth was out, everyone bought the "LSD" thing of Eddie and Alex Van Halen (That being the "lead singers disease") but eventually, it's kind of become apparent that the main cause of problems in Van Halen is actually Eddie and Alex.

Roth coming back is just a great example of too little, too late. Should have made an honest effort to do this when Hagar first left, and before they got Gary Cherone.

Well, they fabricated a handful of milestones... but it's always a shame when fine musicians just can't step back and say: 'Okay, we have different opinions, but for the fan's sake, let's work together!'

I believe those of you who think they won't be able to complete this tour due to old feuds warmed up are right...

Cherone was/is an extraordinarily good lead singer. Far too many people dismissed Extreme as a soft rock band, when Bettencourt/Cherone were producing some amazing funk/rock/metal albums. A real shame that they didn't get the publicity they deserved. Nuno's easily one of my favourite guitarists of all time.

I saw Eddie at a guitar expo fairly recently, and while he's still got magical fingers, he looks like a haggard old man. It's just not going to be the same. The guy is entirely self destructive -- world at his feet, but screwed it up through his ego; mouth cancer that's resulted in part of his tongue being removed, and he's still smoking... Really, WTF?
