So while I was watching my Chicago White Sox beat the **** out of the Cubs tonight,one of the commercials that was on in between innings was an ad for Las Vegas and it got me wondering,why would they ever need to advertise for Vegas?! I mean,c'mon!It's fucking Vegas for god's sake! Is there really anyone out there who doesn't know what Vegas is all about whether they have been there or not? It's not like advertising for Branson Missouri where there might not be a whole lot of people who wouldn't ever think about visiting there for vacation.
Also,something else that pisses me off is when the local electric company(ComEd in the greater Chicagoland area) runs commercials on t.v..What the fuck is that all about?! There isn't any competition in this area so why do they feel the need to advertise? Are they trying to lure all those people that have windmills in their front yards
and solar panels on their roofs,that commercial electricity is the real way to go? Give me a fucking break.
Anyway,I just felt like going on a little rant before I have to go to bed and face the short work week.
