NEW YORK, Dec 17 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks tumbled on Monday on concerns that a persistent housing slump, combined with surging prices, posed the threat of 1970s-style stagflation.

And every idiot, (almost), knows that if the value of the dollar keeps sliding, prices will go even higher. Food, that thing we like to enjoy at times, is also NOT in the CPI, (consumer price index), is that simply an oversight? :rolleyes:
