No one is worth 80 million. This sort of thing is not doing any favours to my already low morale for sports such as football. What a joke. The sportsmen of today are pussies. Back in the day they had talent and played for the love of the sport. Nowadays they just play to get a big fat paycheck. There would be no football if it went back to the way it once was that would show how loyal and devoted these over paid playboys are to the game.

What would a Bobby Charlton or George Best fetch these days?

Real Madrid have agreed a price for the contract with Manchester United, they now need to agree personal terms with Ronaldo (typically this will involve a percentage of the fee to the player as a signing bonus).
