Ufc 92

All I have to say is WOW, what a great PPV!!:nanner:

Evans wins over Griphon
Mir destroys nog (and hopefully he will do the same to Lesnar!)
Rampage sends Silva to the hospital!!

Along with some other great fights!
what a great night:glugglug:

Anyone else catch the show? If so, post your comments !

I would of like to of watched that but I can get it for free online. They don't have much talent in the UFC as they use to. Once they start brining in fresh recuits, the UFC will be taken over once again. UFC is a take over league, not many people last that long. There have only been a few to have held the title against more then several indivisuals. From now on they should find someone with nothing to lose. If I knew the fight was going to be worth ordering I would order it. Most of all they are over rated. Bring back the old school.

PlasmaTwa2

The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
Lesnar Vs. Mir II, I am going to have to order that one! If there is anyone who can put Lesnar in his place, it'll be Frank.

He called Brock out , who was in the crowd watching, yelling at him that he has his belt. I wasnt a fan of Mir before this fight but he really showed some talent against Nog. He knocked him down 3 times! Ive never seen Nog beaten so badly.

I fucking hope so,because I can't stand Lesnar.

If Bruce Lee was still alive, would he of faught in the UFC? I don't think so, but he may of had people he taught that would of. If there was an UFC match I would of like to have saw, It would of been Ken Shamrock vs. Dan the Man Sabbath. They only faught once I think.

I think you are thinking of Dan "The Beast" Severn.

It's Griffin :D

Mir beat Nog was because he kept it on his feet during the whole fight and did not go to the ground....thank god he didn't cause those fights are fucking boring.

Wanderlei vs. Rampage - for those who don't know who Wandi is and what he's capable of, here's clips of their 1st two fights in Pride:
1st: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPfk83KbLs8
2nd: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE1bOYYsnIM

Sweet revenge it is for Rampage cause in the 2nd fight, HE was the one that went to the hospital.
Wandi's aggressive tactic owned him in the end cause Rampage caught him with a good counter left hook

They don't have much talent in the UFC as they use to.

WHAT?
What is talent to you?
Fighters now days are way more talented/smarter/stronger etc...then "they use to"

Once they start brining in fresh recuits, the UFC will be taken over once again.

By whom? They took over Pride...who else is there, enlighten me.
Affliction?
Sherdog?
I don't think so.

There have only been a few to have held the title against more then several indivisuals.

That's the point....I like to see others having the opportunity being in the spotlight, becoming famous with the media and fucking celebrity pussies in VIP parties etc....
What I don't like is to see 1 person holding the title for months/years.
I know of one fighter who relinquish his title because UFC bought them out....Fedor Emelianenko. Now, I wouldn't mind seeing this guy fend for his title over and over again cause he is one bad motherfucker and whoever beats him....props to them :glugglug:

Most of all they are over rated. Bring back the old school.

Who's they?
Mir, Evans, Griffin, Nog, Rampage, Wandi?
Who from the old school are you referring to?
Royce Gracie tried to make a come back and he got his old ass beat by "farm boy" Matt Hughes.
Granted in my eyes he did invent the "full mount" position.

"Back in the days" this guy would be the scrawniest motherfucker.... beating the shit out of the biggest and baddest dude because of his full mount position.
A lot of his fight had me scratching my head, thinking....how the fuck did he pull that off?

If there is anyone who can put Lesnar in his place, it'll be Frank.
No way Mir beats Lesnar again. He was lucky to beat him the first time. Lesnar was destroying him in that first match.
lesnar was killing mir in their first match, but got careless

I agree with spartan and young_guns.
Lesnar loss his "debut" fight against Mir was due to inexperience.
We all knew Lesnar was going to pound Mir into a pulp throughout the 1st round. He had total control, until he got anxious and fucked up...lesson learn.

Lesnar was an all American pro in (college not WWE) wrestling so he's no slouch on the ground. Dude needs to work on his stand up and his ground and pound game because his win over Couture was weak (in my opinion) but a win is a win.

This guy is a beast and his chin has yet to be tested.
Mir stand up was great vs. Nog - he better have more than just a leading left cross against Brock cause have ya'll seen the size of his neck?
He has no neck.

Talent, like people who don't really have a name so you don't know what to expect from them until they knock someones head through the chain link fence. Of course those people would not ever fight in the UFC, instead they are in a private arena with the best fighters in the world unspoken of. Like the Kumate and the movie bloodsport. They have people fight for their lives sometimes, but in the ones that are the best fights. People only fight for their honor. The UFC is full of shit at sometimes. Not to be harsh and say they don't have talent that can stand the wrath of many. If it came down to them fighting someone who can take out twenty to thirty guys on his own. It just doesn't add up. They do this for the money, that is why they don't have a lot of real competitors. They have a few, and I don't mind watching it. The fights use to be way more cut throat. Now they just, grapel and stand up fighting. It just if they want to get some where furthur with this, they are going to have to change the enviroment. Most people don't like the chance of fighting with lights and entertainment around. Because it means much more to them. People just get in the way. It's not even the same enviroment anymore. They don't even have the tournaments anymore. Bring that back, those were the days.

They hav to grapple these days as most of the fighters in the UFC have gotten to a standard where they are decent at many differnet skills so the fighters have to stand whilst looking for an opening and a wait for there chance to get a knock out/submission.
Where as the guys who can beat numerous people at once are mainly just big cloggers who swing wildly and if they came up against an intellagent fighter they will get caught and knocked out when they make mistak eor punch themselves out.

The two fights vs. Fedor were far worse.

yea, I saw those two fights after I posted that. Poor nog just couldnt handle fedor, even on the ground. But I think you should make an exception since it is fedor we are talking about =p

Talent, like people who don't really have a name so you don't know what to expect from them until they knock someones head through the chain link fence.

I agree and a prime example was in UFC 91......after the Couture vs Lesnar match Jorge-Gurgel vs Aaron Riley that match was fucking insane
Glad I didn't turn off the tv cause both fighters now have my respect and attention when they fight next time.

It's 2009 dude....there ain't shit like that anymore.
People like to use guns now instead of their fist to resolve issues.
You know what's full of shit......Bloodsport, it's just a movie.
Sure in other parts of the world there maybe underground some organize fight....I'll have to see it to believe it, clips?

The UFC is full of shit at sometimes.

How is it full of shit when people come out the octagon with missing teeth, black eye, broken noes and cuts around their eyes?
Or it's full of shit because YOU think since they're getting paid and it's not real?

Not to be harsh and say they don't have talent that can stand the wrath of many. If it came down to them fighting someone who can take out twenty to thirty guys on his own.

20-30 at once or one by one? Again, this kung-fu movie fantasy of yours don't exist unless you can prove me wrong by showing me clips. Besides, that dude better have one helluva endurance because 20-30 people is A LOT.

They have a few, and I don't mind watching.

Who?

Now they just, grapel and stand up fighting.

How else would you fight?
Upside down hand stand?

It just if they want to get some where furthur with this, they are going to have to change the enviroment.

Why would they change the environment when they're doing so well in Las Vegas? Every event are sold out pluse the subscribers on PPV.

Most people don't like the chance of fighting with lights and entertainment around. Because it means much more to them.

Guess you're just a low key guy....I fucking LOVE the spotlight.
I'm a attention whore.

People just get in the way.

Huh?!?
Again, who?

They don't even have the tournaments anymore.

What tournaments are you talking about!?!

In the beginning of UFC 1 and UFC 2, THE PPW would last 4 hours with 16 people.
They would all fight then come back out. maybe 4 people per weight class. When they went bare kuckle. It's more televised now, If they are that much invovled in what they are doing why not rent a arena and fit a hundred thousand people in there. As for the movie you are talking about. It was based on real events. I don't know if it still happens. But people out there have Pride or Honor, or dignity to control there selves. Every so often Kung fu masters get togeather and fight for something. And it's not some belt. These guys don't play around. You couldn't grabbed them, they are 175 atleast all muscle. Who are you kidding? UFC is a prodigy for making money, of course these guys will fight, its for the adverage guy to show case is work. It's about entertainment, you don't see much but you get enough. It's not like there is not the rest of the world, who doesn't carry on a tradition. Watch that movie bloodsport, you may learn something. That was the reason I started meditating and learning martial science. When I was just 3 years old. I had got hit by a car and it was the only thing that could settle me down. It's not about me anymore. This is a bussiness, they don't care about anything but assets. Do you see them attemping to expand by doing only pay per view with out cameras and people in the fighters face? They worry too much. If I owned the UFC I would cut out the bullshit and get down to bussiness. More fights, more contracts and less people in the stands. you want to watch a fight in person, cough up that money. You want to watch it on tv, it won't cost you any less. People will take interest in that.
