According to Lehnert’s calculation, the light from UDFy-38135539 traveled over 13 million light years to be visible to the Hubble, but there is speculation that this galactic senior citizen won’t hang onto its title as oldest object discovered in the universe won’t hold its title for long.

I don't see the point in all of this considering we will never see the light of day of actually traveling there. I'd rather read a nice science fiction novel set in space and let my imagination take control. Rather knowing there is something in real life and I'll never be able to go there.

I'll just stick to looking at pretty pictures of space gasses and nebulae.
