One should give consideration for the fact assuredly, her statements were taken out of context. As an example, were she to be standing at the just-opened door in the cargo bay of a battle-damaged C-130 that was about to make a spectacular crash-landing in the Estonian Alps, no one would think for a second that she would have made such preposterous statement such as the first one listed above.
"There is nothing more important than a parachute," she would have said, undoubtably. And she would not have stipulated that it would necessarily have to be a "great" one, either.
"Context," my man. "Context." And fortunately for myself, I have 20-20 vision, so therefore I have no need what so ever for corrective lenses of any kind.

Perhaps this statement may seem a bit flawed when taken on the first bounce, as realistically, one could not make the claim inferred by the former when the presence of the later exists. However—and fortunately for her (and us), that condition is not manifest, and so I feel she has every right to make that statement.

Almost certainly, it would take a long while before anyone got around to "taking advantage" of her brain.
