Its Thread Thursday, a totally legit event that I totally make up last week. We had some cool answers in Topic #1: What's Your Irrational Fear? which you can see here!

Let's continue with a lighter topic, what's your favourite food in the entire world? Feel free to elaborate what makes it your favourite! There's usually a good reason in there somewhere!

Bouef Bourgingon. Steak de Burgo. Sprout's hummus. Braciole.

Yorkshire Puddings. They're like Pringles to me, I could just keep eating them until I explode.

General Tso's chicken w/ fried rice.

I order it all the time that I should be sick of it but I'm not.

Meatloaf if it is good. The tomato sauce/ ketchup topping has to be slightly burned, caramelized for perfection. Barbequed pork chops a close second.

I prefer sesame chicken. I think it is basically Gen. Tso's or is there a difference?

I like sesame chicken too (along with orange chicken) but it has more of a sweet taste compared to Gen. Tso's which is spicier.

Damn, all this talk is making me hungry.

Veal, pan fried in a little butter, and veal stock, drizzled with the stock used to fry it, and topped with some fresh imported prosciutto ham, a side of yellow squash, and zucchini, sauteed in olive oil, and some nice spaghetti with a little marinara sauce. I never get veal at home, the wife has ethical issues. A close second would be these sandwiches I make for the wife and I. I fillet boneless chicken breasts thin, and bread them, and fry them, toast some hoagie rolls, and melt some provolone, and mozzarella cheese on them, and top them with some roasted red pepper, and muffaletta relish.

I like history's greatest food the best. Bacon...because it's bacon.

Good fried chicken wings.

When I was a kid, I almost choked to death on one. I was told I could never eat them again.

Yeah, right.

Cajun, specifically fried catfish on rice, and smothered with craw-fish etouffee. With a side of jalapeno corn bread to mop up the etouffee. Great flavor, and just enough heat to break a sweat.

Ok I used to LOVE me a certain butchers NY Steak, I would put it up against ANY other cut it was so phenomenal.. but.... I have gone Vegan since march of last year and now my absolute favorite thing is an Italian Sausage from a company called 'Field Roast' .... just love the shit out of it and it helps me not miss meat in the slightest :)
