Poll Finds Men Want Alba As Girlfriend

Actress Jessica Alba arrives for the 63rd Annual Golden ...

NEW YORK - More guys want Jessica Alba for their girlfriend than any other woman, according to AskMen.com's top 99 list for 2006.

The 24-year-old actress tops the Web site's list ranking female celebrities on their "long-term relationship material." Alba is followed by "Alfie" star Sienna Miller and the ubiquitous Angelina Jolie.

The list will be posted Tuesday.

James Bassil, editor-in-chief of AskMen.com, told The Associated Press the list was determined by the rankings of 2.5 million readers and by the site's staff.

Readers of the online magazine were asked to vote according to the woman they would most want a relationship with, would consider marrying or thought best-suited to be the mother of their children.

Of course, few have ever accused Alba, Miller or Jolie of being short on movie star glamour.

"We encouraged readers not to go on looks alone," Bassil said. "I don't believe it's an entirely accurate reflection of what a reader strives for in their long-term relationships, but at the same time, it's not a sheerly surface appreciation."

The rest of the top 10, in order, is Brazilian model Adriana Lima (No. 1 last year), "Access Hollywood" correspondent Maria Menounos, Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel, singer Amerie, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria.

Britney Spears _ a mainstay of such lists in previous years _ failed to chart.

I think Jessica Alba is attractive, but she's not going to best the overwhelming majority of models if she was nude. Same deal with Angelina Jolie, half of her body is from a model, but half of it is not.

It's as if any actress that has ANY decent body gets overrated, because so many have such poor figures (and most use body doubles liberally). Yet there are countless models out there who would blow both away.

If any man had such actress, they'd tire very quickly of them. You might think otherwise, but many of you would be saying, "Her body is not all what people think it is."

I wouldn't have put Jessica Alba in first place, although I can't deny she is hot...

but these girl deserve a better rank than that, I should have put them in the top 10 :
Brooke Burke 43th
Alessandra Ambrosio 36th
Penelope Cruz 32th
Gisele Bundchen 26th
Salma Hayek 25th
Monica Bellucci 15th
Marisa Miller 14th
Eva Longoria 10th

in that kind of contest, my favorite is the "Loaded Magazine 100 Most Beautiful Breasts", I can't wait to see the upcoming 2006 crew :boobies:
(2005 winner was -obviously- Sophie Howard ;) )

Askmen.com has released their "Top 99 Women of 2006." They have Trish Stratus ranked #30 and Torrie Wilson ranked #22. Stacy Keibler does not appear on the list

After reading this snippet from the daily news, I find the list :bs: as they forget the luscious, long-legged diva, Stacy Keibler.

It's good to be the king...
I find it strange that Askmen.com has released this "Top 99 Women of 2006survey now - yet we haven't even finished with January.

Surely it would make more sense to conduct this poll at the year's end.

Oh well............:dunno:

im guessing its top 99 women, 2006 edition, so what they did in 2006.
just the same as magazines... you get the march issue on february 13th or earlier...

and i honestly believe that probably 3 of the ladies in the top ten deserve to be in the top 10

I hate to look at these things,as it all comes down to personal choice anyway. These lists are done on a very small survey section and you can't say they are a true example of what the whole think.

I could pick holes all over this list but won't.I will say this,it's very biased towards the US as most of them get a bigger spotlight in the media.

These things are always so skewed. It's like the annual "fattest city" poll and shit like that. I don't have time right now to scroll through 100 pages but if Elisha Cuthbert and Scarlett Johannson did not make the top 10 there is something really wrong with it.

Well, here in america, we're use to see the same girls over and over again, when i saw all the ladies who were on that list, i saw girls from every corner of the world. My point is, there's other hot womens in the world, they could make a top 200 list and they would be still missing some.:2 cents:

GB #26 :wtf:
(and they got the breakup "facts" wrong)

Alessandra Ambrosio #36 :wtf:

It's lists like that that make me glad I'm not a magazine editor with the pressure of having to fill blank pages with invented lists.... :D

Jessica Alba has won this contest just because she is an actress, and played in the well known TV-Series alias & Sin City... of course, she is not the hottest of them but most of the teenagers who visited this site gave a 10 to J.Alba just because they know her...
this contest was fucked up by the poor average people who voted randomly... :(

Another piss-poor poll won by "flavour-of-the-month" votes.......:(
