It appears ex British PM Tony Blair is still refusing to admit his role in the monumental cock up in Iraq, in fact he's blaming everyone else for the current crisis.
He has even gone as far as calling for further western intervention in both Iraq and Syria.
As I see it the removal of Saddam left a power vacuum in Iraq and the wider region which led to a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Both sides have taken advantage of the Arab Spring and exploited sectarian tensions in countries such as Iraq, Syria and Bahrain to their own ends.
I'd be interested in an international view, do you think he's right? Has he lost the plot? Is he just beating the drums of war in hope of even more fat checks from the Neo Con speaking circuit and "consultancy fees" from the corporations benefiting from arms sales and reconstruction in Iraq and possibly Syria?
