Yesterday, I left my house to go somewhere, and shortly after getting on the road, I noticed a huge tower of black smoke just to the south of the interstate I was on. Driving along, I looked over and through the black smoke, I could see giant flames. And a rail yard, and a building engulfed.
I found out that a chemical solvent factory had been on fire, and had exploded, sending 55-gallon drums shooting into the air, etc. etc.
Now, I ask you, is it wrong that the little *** in me was like, "AWESOME!" I wished I could have seen the actual explosion! Hey, no one was ******, and I'm not sure anyone was even injured. But this was like something off some action show on TV.
Perhaps I'm twisted, but just for the sheer magnitude of it, that would have been cool to witness.
