I was a fan of both shows/franchises. Some of the worst prisoners in Oz played cops/doctors on Law & Order. JK Simmons played both Vern Schillinger and Dr Emil Skoda. Christopher Meloni played Chris Keller and Detective Stabler. Dean Winters played Ryan O'Reilly and Officer Cassidy. Kathryn Erbe played Shirley Bellinger and Detective Eames. Vincent D'Onofrio was Detective Goren but not in Oz but I would have loved to see him play a psycho prisoner.
