The Ultra, Fantastic "Post Something when you are feeling sick as a dog Thread" ™

Greetings to all; Guests, Members OCSMs and whoever does not classify into any of the aforementioned; welcome to you too.

I should start by apologizing in advance if there is a thread or multiple threads like this populating the Boards. As a new member who is both green and blissfully unaware, I am creating this thread simply for the heck of it. Okay a little boost in rep power and the possibility of thought, provoking discussion are also notable reasons for the formulation of this thread but I digress.

As the title so masterfully indicates, this is the ideal thread for those who come across the board on a day when they are not feeling their best. Of course people of all walks of life and degrees of health are welcome to post here. I am just getting the proverbial ball rolling on a day where being in bed trying to sleep of my ailments has been a mostly no-win situation. In my current state, jacked up on a cornucopia of medicine (most of which I believe is over the counter and/or medicinal) I am left to ponder about the day that could have been. There were lots of *important* things I wanted to do today but when you mix being sick with procrastination, well you notice that it goes from 7:45 am to 7:45 pm rather quickly and you can't even recall what you did during that span. Surely we have all had days like that. I have days like that even when I am more or less perfectly healthy. If you are going to do something, anything even if it procrastinating; you best give it your all.

Perhaps I should lay out some ground rules for this thread. I don't see myself going back to look over this after I finish it so if there is any repetition, spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, gibberish or utter nonsense in the following just feel free to look past it. Pretty sure most if not all of these guidelines are carbon copies of those provided by FreeOnes, so without further ado.

1. Please refrain from posting anything of a profane, threatening, disrespect, negative or sexual nature to a fellow poster or thread creator.
1a. Okay sexual nature is alright if it is good taste and validated, or if you are an OCSM.

2. If you are going to post links (for whatever the reason), do make certain they are links to content that we can all appreciate and will not result in this thread being shut down and having to make me go out of my way to create a new one.

3. No spam, seriously most of us get enough of it in our e-mails, mail boxes, and cell phones. The latter being the kind telling you've won something in a contest you had no idea you entered and you go to the website to inquire/claim they only take your information and share it with other spammers. I mean for all that trouble they could at least send you the IPhone 5 you supposedly won.

4. Tell your friends about this thread. I'm not big on bumping a thread to keep it on the first page if no one is actually posting in it.

So there you have it boys and girls, a brand new thread for you to share your deepest, inner most and intimate thoughts..or not. As for me I am going to make the most of what's left of the day (over on the EST time zone) and do one of the following

a) sleep
b) work on some accounting school work
c) play Diablo 3
d) prepare my hockey pool draft lists (yes I am fully aware there is most likely going to be another lockout and like last time I will swear off all hockey until it comes back but trust me the annual hockey pool is the most wonderful time of the year)
e) stare off into space
f) all of the above, that's like Guinness worthy no?

Thank you for reading and if you made it to hear by actually reading and not just scrolling then give yourself a cookie, a pat on the back, or whatever..I for one would reward myself with an evening with Miss Briana Lee; when I have fully recovered and am feeling all better of course.

Cheers

After spending a 1 1/2 months in the hospital, it's the normal, mundane things such as making coffee because it was done for you. It took me about an hour to decide if I really wanted it (I did).

Or crazy as a fox?

When I'm sick I do the same things I do when I'm healthy. Read, post on here and play video games. Also, if I'm not so sick that I have to say in, jogging is a good way to sweat it out.

The guy specifically asked us to stay on topic. Can you guys take your nonsense bs into a different thread? Good thing no mods are seeing this or else they'd sta....oh wait.

Really?!? Sorry, but my attention span only got through the first paragraph. I must've missed that. Oh, look! Something shiny!
