The Simpson’s And Porno
OK, maybe I’m reading way too much into this, but something has caught my attention.
A few seasons back, Homer and Ned went off to Vegas and while **********, married two woman named Ginger and Amber. Now, this could have been just by chance, but right away I thought of former 80’s porn starlets Ginger and Amber Lynn (no relation).
Last night, I was watching, and while at the Isotopes baseball game, Lenny and Karl made mention of their former girlfriends, Jill and Kelly, in that order (not Kelly and Jill).
I also seem to recall, although not remember, another name correlation like that.
Now, come on. Is this just a coincidence, or is there something there? Back in high school, for English class I wrote a short story and all my characters were named after porno stars. My teacher actually made mention of my choice of names for the people.
What do you think lads? Are the Simpson creators porn fans, or do I have too much time on my hands?
