The Pink Taco Restaurant

This restaurant just opened up last Friday amidst the controversy over it's name.
I live in AZ but not there and did not know if anyone here has heard of this place and the uprising of it.
I guess a few celebrities were there for the grand opening - don't know who though.
I wonder if they have extra cheese with the Pink Taco Plate?

So four people complained and they have a problem with it. I wish it were that easy for me to get everything changed that I wanted by just getting that many people to complain. Of course 200 people could be dying on the street and they would probably want to debate it for a month or two so that shows where their priorities are. I also like the part about maintaining Scottsdale reputation. I'm not familiar with the place but isn't that were many adult models and porn starts live, not to mention strip clubs and things like that.

yeah, but the "good citizens" don't have to see it, so as long as those people pay up, then they don't care what goes on behind closed doors.

It's not "upscale", it's full of rich assholes. Just because they have money doesn't mean that they have class. But then again, maybe living in an island of luxury surrounded by abject poverty is what is known as a good reputation.

It was a few years ago, but I have eaten at the one in Vegas, it was good. Drank way more than I ate though.

I don't get what the big deal is over the name. People need to get a grip.

The Daily Show just did a bit on this. Ed Helms reported. The owner said that the restaurant is named after their signature dish. At the end of the report, Ed Helms said that the irony of whole thing is that the pink taco dish tastes like ass!:rofl:
