Well, it's that time of year. Even though the event is largely closed to the public and somewhat selective, there are meaningful announcements to be made. So have at it.


First up, Project Natal will be renamed Kinect, and there are early rumors of an X-Box 360 Slim with built in WiFi and a 250 GB HD for $299.

I wanna see Twisted Metal ps3 announced at the Sony conference tomorrow. I'd also like to see the Rockstar developed ps3 exclusive "Agent".

Game discussion thread with games that are being spoken of during E3 2010.

Just watched Star Wars Force Unleashed II trailer. Looks awesome. Though I am skeptical in the direction it is going considering all of this is taking place between Episode III and Episode IV.

Socom 4 is looking graphically gorgeous.

Basically have fun with the E3 thread and see where it goes. :hatsoff:

From what I understand Galen Marek (the Apprentice) is dead but Darth Vader is either using clones of him or has revived him like he did before in the first game sans memories. I'm not 100% certain of that but I'm sure I read that some where.

I was watching the Microsoft conference and I liked Gears of War 3, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Fable 3, a little bit of Kinect and the XBOX 360 Slim. XBOX 360 Slim ships today and is $299.

Damn! I have to say that new form of Xbox I just watched now on SpikeTV looks great. Built in Wi-Fi and 250 GB HDD. Same price as a 360 out now. Nice.

I'm rolling with your thread Shayd cause Whimsy was picking on me last week....anyways, I'm reading that the M$ xbox conference was SuperLame-O. Shit for game announcements outside of the Kinect games, mostly demos of multiplatform games, Call of duty maps coming to xbox first then ps3 for the next 3 years(so the fuck what?!)......

The new xbox console looks cool but no price cut and its not like its new hardware. So if you got an xbox already its totally irrelevant to you just like the slim ps3. At least when they did the slim ps3 they cut the price along with it...

Sounds lame-O to me, wheres the fucking games???? All this totally reinforces my decision to drop xbox and invest my $$$ in ps3 until the next round of consoles.

I think the new Xbox looks really nice (Can't believe it took them this long to have built in wi-fi though) but the demos I saw of Kinect didn't really impress me. Sony has at least shown some big name games using the Move instead of just Wii ripoffs like Microsoft has shown. I'm still excited for what the Kinect is capable of but Microsoft should've been more gung-ho about what that potential can possibly be. I think they're just leaving it up to our imaginations which, thanks to porn and video games, mine is lacking!!

Oh, and Metal Gear Solid: Rising... not sure about that one. I was apparently one of the few people who wasn't a fan of MGS4 (I know MGS is notorious for cutscenes but that was just ridiculous in that game or basically movie I should say)

yeah, right? How come Gears 3,Fable 3 etc can't be used with Kinect? With psmove, you're gonna be able to play the big franchises Socom,LittleBIGplanet, Uncharted etc along with the shit that is made just for motion applications, like your bowling,archery,sports etc...

I would like to see a new RE or at least an apology for RE5. I hear they're totally rehauling the gameplay for RE6 so it'll probably be a little while until we see anything about it, at least that's my guess. I can wait for the next GTA game, I like them but they need to do something new with them, getting very repetitive.

I think it might be longer than that. I think they are just gonna keep adding new features. (IE Xbox & PS3 doing the whole motion stuff like Wii already has)

I just watched a special coverage by Gametrailers on the Microsoft conference on Spike TV without commercial interruptions...and it was great. The Kinect looks impressive as well as the new Xbox 360 slim. However, they did not mention if the dreaded red-ring of death has been fixed with the new slim console. Probably will holdout and watch out for its reviews.

I heard that the Kinect demo was a total bomb for Microsoft.Don't really know why they would show a terribly rushed peripheral when they knew that it wasn't ready.This has potential to be a problem for Microsoft if they don't get their shit together.
