Thought it would be cool to have a video gaming thread where you can make statements,ask for advice on purchases,need help with a game etc. but dont think your input would need a dedicated thread.....alow me to start.


I was reading the new Game informer and I saw that Splinter cell:conviction was gonna be on PC too????? I know that PC isnt a console so most people still consider the game to be xbox360 exclusive but the way I look at it,if its on PC than its not an exclusive to xbox....

All the Splinter Cell games have been for multiple systems and PC since the first one.

As for Conviction I never really paid much mind to the consoles it will be on considering the 360 is a sure bet.

Xbox is Microsoft owned and a console; PC is largely Microsoft, thus, extra money for folks who prefer PC gaming for an otherwise exclusive Microsoft title. However, given time down the road I am sure Conviction will go to PS3. Just like Bioshock and Mass Effect to name a few "exclusives" that have come out.

I am however looking forward to Mass Effect 2. I am going to be getting Borderlands on New Year's from my friend.

So many wonderful games coming out in 2010! So little time...

As opposed to having a games forum where people can start a thread for whatever reason and have a specific question that can be seen, replied to and commented on. Instead of having one massive thread, with tons of questions, remarks, statements that is about as easy to navigate as a bowl of spaghetti.

In the past I wanted to start a thread about whether I should get Borderlands or Dragon Age Origins... I felt it was senseless to make a whole new thread. Well in another thread regarding Origins, I asked my question, it was answered and generally saved the board from a simple question/answer, statement thread.

Lachemo is seeming to think along the same lines.

Such as I have a thread about I called it first where it discusses games before they come out and whether or not it will happen or not, or just general discussion of how games will be before they come out. :hatsoff:

Thank you Whimsy, and yes that was my thinking. Countless times I refrained from starting a "whole" thread because I thought there wasnt a enough substance to my question,comment etc. and thought to myself that people would think...."do we really need a thread about this?"......

Burnout is very cool. I mostly like traditional or tactical RPGs though.

The hehe, ;], and lol screams trying too hard to come off credible or real...

Beyond that, Burnout is a enjoyable game. I've yet to play Paradise given I see no point at the moment to own it seeing how I do not have Xbox Live.

I do like Revenge. And Forza 2, I will be getting Forza 3 when it goes down in price. I cannot come to pay full price for a race car game for some reason.

I'd still look into it if I were you. I didnt even do the online shit with that game and its still one of my fav arcade style racing games of this gen.....

Dont worry,Rockstar will deliver with Red Dead redemption. If theres any company you want to deliver on a sequel to a game that could have been a whole lot more its Rockstar.

Thats the problem with it for me, its too much of a devil MCry clone. However, one mans trash can be anothers treasure,right?

dont really know too much about it but its funny you are bringing it up today cause I remember running into the game for the 1st time while browsing through the new game informer mag that came today.....

It hasn't been shown in Game Informer and relatively new on the preview scene. Unless you count a few of the dozen obscured game sites out there that knows the title but nothing else. I hope it turns out decent, it looks fun and crude humor.

Bayonetta looks fun, however, it seems like one hand I am thinking it will be mediocre/all hype, but on the other hand, I think it will be one of those games that are great but the sales will lack.

Hard to say really. If I do get it I will most likely wait until it is cheap or something, if at all.
