what the fuck you lookin at?
Maybe we should put up a list of who we think the best live bands are. After all I've never seen any of the bands on that list live. :(

I've only seen Godsmack live and they were pretty good, of course I was high as fuck the whole time so that was a bonus!

I wish I would have seen metallica back when they were actually good!

Metallica should be top 10.

Every list is biased. Everybody votes for his / her favorite band regardless of their true talents playing live.

So this could have been named "50 random bands people tend to like" just the same.

The opinions of "the stars" are no more valid than the opinions of any Regular Joe off the street.

There is a few regular joes in the voter's list.

What, no GWAR? Shenanigans!!!

Seriously, though, GWAR puts on one hell of a stage show. Marilyn Manson in the early years was a good stage-show band. A lot of the bands listed are great live, but there's no show. For me there has to be a show or else why did I bother coming. That's just me though, and I have eclectic tastes.

Classic Rock wrote about GWAR in this months issue.

GWAR Sprayed The Front Rows With Ejaculations From A Giant Penis...

the best i saw was suicidal tendencies. no way is zep the best live band

[*]Andy Copping Promoter of Live Nation

Having worked for 4 years for this evil company which you call Live Nation, I can tell you that Andy Copping is not a promoter of Live Nation. He might be the head of the promotions department, but he can't be a promoter because Live Nation IS a promoter. If that company heard that they have employed a promoter for a promoter, they would immediately eliminate his position, and give him the choice of either transferring him to another department, taking his benefits and reducing his hours to part time, or being let go of.

I've only seen Godsmack live and they were pretty good

Well I'm glad SOMEBODY had a good time with Godsmack! The last time I worked one of their shows it was one of the worst days of my working life. It was the last day of the tour, and their crew were all out of coke, so they were a bunch of raging bitch bags when load in started at 8 in the morning, and they remained quite the same until we closed the last truck at 1:53 in the morning. For the show I had to page the camera operator's cable on the stage during the show, which was all gravy, except for nobody informed me of the fact that the riser that was 10 feet from where I was there wasn't a riser at all, but it was a pyro deck, from which a 25-foot high column of flame would be shooting out, and that I should watch for that. During one of their songs, I think it was Voodoo, said flame tower shot off, and singed my eyebrows. The rest of the night I smelled like chicken.

they can spot talent more than the average joe. ;)

Why? Their opinions are as valid as yours or mine. Money and fame doesn't make your taste in music better than anyone elses.

Hell yeah! I was covered in fake blood, fake piss, fake vomit and fake oil (Which squirted out of the veins of a giant robotic Nixon).

Extremely memorable. However I can only remember two of their songs :1orglaugh
