I thought the Jon Stewart version was better.
I remember thinking Bassem Youssef would take over for Stewart. It might be interesting to see if he becomes a correspondent or part-time host.

Noah was... ok. It took a good year or more to warm up to his approach, and even now I
He definitely took the show to a hard left turn. The correspondents were also a mixed bag. I hope that that they do a clean slate with the replacement, so yes, I think some changes will be needed.

That said, I will say that his book helped me understand the country conditions of South Africa a little better, and that was useful for my job. I think he shines better as a comedian than a host, so it's a good move on his part.

Was he funny? I never watched. He couldn't be worse than Jimmy Fallon though. Comedy is in sad shape in the 2020s. If George Carlin rose from Hell he'd kick 'em all in their frightened, mealy-mouth vaginas.

I will miss Trevor, but, yeah, he took the show into too openly political waters, too little fun.
