Shame and disgust are to kind of words to describe how this story made me feel today. A government that will purchase $500.00 toilet seats, accept a bid of and pay a contractor $25,000.00 for a $2,500.00 job. Dares to let this happen?
I seriously hope we as a people take our time and check the history/record of the 2008 hopefuls for ourselves. Not accepting the election "minute" commercial debates we will soon start seeing as fact or campaign speeches as fact either. The proofs in the pudding, we must dig deep, research and see for ourselves what each has done. Its all a matter of record, I for one will not let anyone twist facts and candy coat the truth. We need leadership!
Sorry for the rant, but this is NOT acceptable in my eyes. As many things the current top residents of D.C. are turning a blind eye to are not acceptable.
