I can't see the video, but there was a movie City of God, which I think featured some of the street life in Rio if that's what it's all about.

City of god was a film based on real events, this documentary is footage a film crew shot while living in the slums with the drug bosses, alongside footage they shot with the military police.

This documentary does show the results of beatings and murders, but it's not purely about the violence, it interviews police and gang members basically providing an insight into slum reality. It also follows an ex-drug trafficking pastor who tries to bring some sort of peace between the drug bosses. It's an interesting film. Granted, it's not going to be everyones cup of tea, or coffee. I just thought that with a limited time to watch it, it's worth putting the word out.
