The 7 Worst Presidents of the Last 100 Years

http://townhall.com/columnists/John..._7_worst_presidents_of_the_last_hundred_years

Liberal historians have been ranking Presidents for years and of course there's always a heavy leftward skew to their evaluations. Republicans are inevitably ranked lower than they deserve to be while Democrats are sure to be portrayed in the kindest historical light. Here's a different take on the issue: A look at the worst Presidents of the last hundred years from a conservative perspective.

Kind of interesting, though this is ultimately a subjective conversation. I find it problematic to include a sitting president in this list, as the longer term damage can't yet be evaluated. That said, I believe that former President G. W. Bush should likely have made this list.

Just my :2 cents:, but flame away!

How can you put a sitting President on a best/worst list when his term isn't even over? What if the reason you put him on a list gets turned around before his Presidency is up? You don't put sitting Presidents on lists until their terms are over because you don't know what's gonna happen while they're in office. You wait and then evaluate.

Geeze couldn't have guessed number 1!!! This guy is a TRAILBLAZER.

Both Bush's
Eisenhower
Ford
Carter ......hmmm, that's 5 already
Harding
Coolidge

That's my not-so-Magnificent 7. And I decided to do it before reading the article. 7 is a big number for 100 years though and I only put in Harding and Coolidge tacitly. Now, I'll see what the article says.

That link has
-a FOX News ad
-a Rush Limbaugh ad
-a note saying John Hawkins is a professional blogger.

"Professional" as in paid for by those ads.

This list is complete, utter, whole-level, absolute, undeniable BULLSHIT. Another excuse for some right-wing douchebag to once again throw Obama under the bus, and subtely praise GW Bush and his grossly incompetent consecutive terms full of some of the worst moments the U.S. has ever seen... both domestically and internationally. How either Bush managed to escape a spot on this list is beyond any scale of retardation derived by man.

This article is a perfect example of why that site does not have any credibility whatsoever. The addendum also shows the author's grasp of history:

Editors' note: the original version of this article said that Richard Nixon was impeached over Watergate. He resigned before he could be impeached.

my favorite part is how right before the talk shit about obama they say
it's impossible to fully evaluate barack obama's presidency because it's not over
people are just so impatient to point out how much he's fucking up it makes me laugh

That list loses all credibility by including Wilson and mentioning FDR. Those two are two of the greatest Presidents in history. That list is sad.

If it is your belief that it is too early to include President Obama (I agree), then why would your logic allow you to believe that after only 1 year (2001-2009) is sufficient enough to place George W. Bush on that list?

It seems silly to try to evaluate presidencies in the past, where we were not only not apart of, but when all we have are opinions and historical events (which can be tainted) to base it upon...

So it makes sense that people hate Bush and Obama, because those are the contemporary presidents that we have in recent memory. I would say the worse era of presidents we had were the ones leading up to the Civil War. Those guys were idiots for letting a country destroy itself. Nixon was a crook, and is responsible for the miserable war on drugs.

I looked at the credentials of the writer and probably should've stopped reading there. But, no, I read the first paragraph...

This paragraph sort of set up a "But wait! This will be different" kind of vibe...and sadly, the only thing different is the gross exaggeration of Dems instead of Republicans not to mention another tired mentioning of Obama and Socialist...

And any list of worst presidents without George W Bush at the top is not worth shit

How can a conservative fuck up Nixon's bio anyway? Again, conservatives don't know nor care about DETAILS! FACTS!
