Did a similar workout years ago - it was called circuit training, I think.

I remember reading about this workout when the movie came out. I was close to attempting it (not as many reps as it listed, but something to just get back in to shape like I was when I was in cross country). Never got around to it

You don't need a training program to get back into shape. If you want to use it then go ahead.

All you really need is...
1. Proper diet
2. Proper supplements
3. A hard workout routine

What's the difference between a training program and a hard workout routine?
 
i've done it once. there's a slightly modified version for women. my wife did it as well. fucking excellent!
 
I remember working out once a week a USMC style workout. Just once a week and within a month I noticed considerable change, weight loss, and body muscle gain.

Thing is, most people either take diets and think they will lose and gain muscles; or they workout and still eat junk food thinking they will get where htey want.

Workout regularly, eat proper, and keep up the regiment!

Then again, in the end, ultimately, when you have a USMC DI yelling at you to do physical workout, one loses weight either from working out or shitting themselves to flesh and bones...

Are you training for anything in particular or just training to get/keep in shape?

Nothing in particular. I just haven't gone to the gym for a few weeks because I'm always bored when I'm there. I figure I'd try something new, that's all.
 
Wouldn't the real 300 workout just be killing 100's of people?

I'd recommend just doing a lot of PCP and running into a police station with a chainsaw in each hand. Not as effective... but more entertaining.

I'll never have washboard abs and honestly, at my age, don't really want 'em. I do a pretty stout regimen at least twice a week just to maintain good strength and flexibility. I should do more cardio but I HATE cardio. Fucking boring as shit. At least weights are fun.

Really nothing, but usually you have to pay for programs.

Also programs are designed for the bulk of people or a targeted crowd. Which can sometimes affect you so much differently.
