"I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston [Dallas?] telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University."
Texas has their school curriculum determined by dentists and realtors (but no historians!) who remove Thomas Jefferson from the curriculum.

When are they going to actually go ahead and secede? I can't say I'd miss them, sorry... (I'm not actually serious - I realize that some great Texans were putting up a noble fight against this BS)
