I'd say over all its a good thing. I don't mean because of modern day conveniences but because of where we've gone with medicine just in recent years. I saw a show on the science channel where they've made steps toward making the blind see again...and this woman no longer even had eyeballs :eek:
Thats just one example because like everything there is also a dark side to technology. For instance we possess technology that is capable of literally destroying the one and only world we call home.
