I have seen an increase number of these threads lately.
Most have difficulty coming up with nominations and have become very hard to keep track of (as a few of you have pointed out already).
I enjoy these threads very much, because I believe that they encourage members to participate here on the forum and more importantly members can feel like part of the community.
I can still remember when I was chosen as MOTW. It was a nice feeling to be honored by my fellow members.
Maybe a change in format would help put these threads back on track?
I suggest changing them from weekly threads to monthly threads.
This will do 2 things. It will increase the quality and number of the nominations. This will also greaten the value of the award it's self.
I would also be willing to talk to the other Mods, Super Mods and Admin. to see if we could include a bonus of freeones points to the winner.
Any ideas or comments?
